Get to know Eduardo

Midlothian therapist Eduardo (Jed) Aquillo believes that it is important to focus on the present moment with a holistic, present-centered, and existential point of view. Jed offers counseling for children ages 8 and up and teens with ADHD, anxiety, and sports performance, and helps adults seeking to heal from grief and trauma feel the most comfortable and empowered in their own skin.

With an empathetic approach and a goal to build a safe and warm space, Jed aims to help individuals by fostering growth in their own self-awareness, self-direction, and personal freedom. He believes the best way to help is by creating an environment where his clients feel strengthened, confident, and free to grow within themselves.

Jed is a proud Filipino-American and Dallas native who earned his Bachelor’s in Psychology, with a minor in Neuroscience, from the University of Texas at Arlington. He graduated with his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University in May 2024.

Jed enjoys hanging out with his friends and family, going to the gym, and exploring the outdoors! A big fan of live music and water (in any form), you can usually find him on a snowboard, an inner tube, or next to a warm fire with a cup of coffee and a cozy snack.
